BTW, the same problem occurs with most bottom mounts. Whatever manifold TT uses is the same way. The ebay bottom mounts, the tubular ones, are even worse because they mount the turbo too low to drain oil properly back to the pan.

I realize this is an ancient thread but I'm curious if anything ever came of this proposed kit? Probably a stupid question but ...has anyone ever been able to do an E30 M50 or S5X turbo and keep their A/C?

There really is no kit per say, most people do a custom setup. As far as the turbo manifold me and blunt are the #1 supplier for them.
