    Identical interior.

Changing motors by hand without a lift? Dont get a hernia. Good project though, glad to see you getting rid of the auto that never should have come in the car.
Wow, they do look a lot alike!

I have a super strong friend of mine who is going to help me (he'll most likely do most of the lifting, haha). He is like an e30 guru, and claims that he has removed blocks before by himself. He wouldn't make that up, but I'm looking forward to seeing it tomorrow night. :P

I can barely lift a block with nothing else in it - good luck with that.

I have no idea wtf is going on.

Btw, I managed to get use of a lift for the remainder of the swap, so we've been over there the last couple days.

You guys need to see the exhaust on this car. Omg, it is so retarded. I'll upload pics tomorrow.

                      Alright, here are some pics.

                      Here is the ghetto-rigged exhaust

This is how we moved the M52 from my friends house to the shop.

                      Booster, a/c, etc all removed.

Everything besides the block out in this pic.

                      The brake pedal removed.

And the pedals installed (not hooked up to the clutch master or new brake booster yet).

I've been to Compton several times. I haven't seen anyone do anything like this before.

hahahaha I remember a thread with someone asking if it was possible to bring an engine home if the passenger seat was taken out. I guess so!

Here is a much cleaner engine bay. I *could* have climbed in there and scrubbed with a wire brush, but I felt satisfied with the power washers results.

The block was also installed tonight, but I don't have any good pics of that. I'll take some on Monday night when I work on the car again.
