Damn, That is just a mistake thats happens. Its nice that your mech understanded and whilling to pay you the cash for the new clutch. im thinking about converting to a late 260 tranny with e36 flywheel, clutch, and starter.

Sounds like what happened to mine, except the markings were worn off. I was able to get the tranny off in the car and flip the disc tho. Mine ran fine, just had the clutch engaged permanently. Thats why I didnt make it to the picnic last year.

I feel for you and the frustration. Sorry about all the damage too.

btec, you can see in his pic that Sachs was nice enough to print Gearbox Side, instead of the normal getriebseite and motorseite.
