You'll have to look very closely at the wire colors, but they're on the diagram. I believe there is also a reference in the DOHC swap FAQ, but it may have been somewhere else I saw that.

Jean,
What did you end up doing with your metal hose? Keep it? I need something similar to the Turner conversion fitting because I will want to replace my plastic hose (#6 here... http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...00&hg=11&fg=35) with something that will let me use my stock power steering resevoir location.
In any case, can you measure the ID of your timing case where the hose goes so I can compare it to what I have on the M54, I'd like to see if they're the same. I think mine is 30mm in diameter.

Here's what I found. I have both and s50 and s52 timing cases so I figured I could measure for you.
s52 ID: 23mm
s52 metal hose: 22mm. Yes, the O-rings fill-in a 1mm gap
s50 adapter OD, the side that goes into the timing case: 22mm
s50 adapter OD, the side that goes to the rubber hose: 24mm
btw, .13mm = .005"

I either need to fabricate my own or mate a barb onto my plastic pipe at the right location. Or I can use the stock pipe as-is and live with some funky hose routing.
