    Interesting.

    Any idea what he means by intake though? I the bung on the radiator sounds pretty good though.

      Wouldn't putting the temp sensor in the rad be pretty much useless? Coolant is not flowing through the rad unless the thermostat is open. The sensor should be in a place where the temp of the coolant actually matters-in the block. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I wouldn't want to wait until the 185 degree coolant makes its way into the rad and then wait for the sensor to heat up before my fan comes on. What if you drilled and tapped the thermostat housing (assuming you have the aluminum one)?

        What did you guys use to mount the fan to the radiator? I used the zip tie mounts through the rad before, but they just don't hold up.

          I saw a picture of using just four small flat metal brackets going to the four bolts on the corners of the radiator.

            Thats what I'm using and they're doing pretty well. I actually have the zip tie mount type though.
