Don't think you can really have too much fuel filtration when dealing with FI, IMO.

So my booster of choice is from the 2002, I'll have to modify it alil, cut the U-joint off and weld on my stock e30 Rod with the proper length measurements. The 735i booster will also work but would need to be notched over and you'll have to modify the shaft and where it mounts to the car, too complicated for me so will go an easier route with the 2002 booster.

As for the e46m3 FPR and giant size fuel filter, I've deceided to ditch the fuel filter and keep my stock, but as for the FPR, I mounted it just below the booster.

*735i booster doesn't fit without serious modifications, notch over and cut booster

Massives booster delete recommends to use stock master cylinder but a caliper upgrade is a necessity. I am saving up for a good bbk now.

Would love to know if that booster works for future reference.

^ Haha yea not the popular choice but at least I used legit clamps.

My next concern is the brake booster, probably will go with a 2002 booster, I had this in my last swap and although it doesn't allow a full lockup it does feel a lot better then going boosterless. I also have a 735i booster which kinda looks like an IX booster, but I'm not sure if this will fit so I'll have to do some testing.

I got the oil cooler done today, so what I did was I used the stock e30m3 lines cut the ends off and clamped on e46m3 fittings.

This method saved me some money for other needs, looks fairly decent so I'm ok with it but really didn't have a choice anyways, I couldn't get the stock lines off cooler.

You must downsize the master cylinder to get effective braking that can be modulated.

If you want a stock feeling brake system with a booster delete, you will more than likely have to go with larger diameter brake rotors and caliper bores.

One example is E36 M3 front brakes with Z3M rear brakes. With a 60 mm front bore and 40 mm rear bore, this preserves balanced F/R brake torque, provided you use a non-stepped bore master cylinder.

Jb325is went with the "nasieg" BBK. He has a great writeup in his build thread in the Project Car subforum.

You will also want to decrease the bore of your master cylinder.
Of course. I'm assuming that booster delete people have upgraded calipers and BMC's.

What options are people going with in vacuum assist booster setups?

And has anyone in here gone nuts with a CSL style plenum, Alpha-N and cams?

Anyone using Arc Asylum's exhaust system?

You couldn't get the lines off the cooler?? Mine came off with some big wrench and a rubber mallet wasn't hard

Booster less is really not good with stock brakes. With me it stops if you want it too but if you're haulin ass and someone pulls out you pretty much better be ready to swerve

Upgrading the brakes is a must

You can safely drive around normally but don't tail gate

Got the trans install on my back today! Hellyeah! but really it was not fun at all. Some may ask:why didn't u install trans attracted to motor? Well cause it wouldn't fit and I didn't want to disconnect the steering knuckle, so that's why! But with some help from two jacks I got it to mate on my first attemp :)

For the oil cooler, I'm gonna use my stock lines why? because I couldnt for my life get the lines off, so no fancy lines for me. I'm going to custom the stock lines with e46m3 fittings. Pics to come.

Who in here actually runs the booster delete and what is your verdict?

And, are people running power steering?
