I'm sure it could be but why would you want to? you lose out on all the low end torque benefits.

It would work. You could remove the DISA assembly and replace with a blockoff plate.

The result would be that you are permanently using the runners that correspond with higher-rpm operations and would lose the resonance at low rpms that boost torque.

Your MS43 may also throw a code if it does't sense the actuator.

Ok then , what would you delete for the ecu??
        Look'n at a m54b30 swap. My e30 has a m50 into ATM and look'n at the m54 with it's extra torque .

a lot of that torque comes from Disa

there would just be a couple error codes from the missing actuator. you really don't even need to delete them, they shouldn't cause a limp mode or anything.

Ok, the problem we have in Australia is m54s are not cheap, and not too many people have done the swap. And I think US M54 and Australian m54's may have differences.

So for the ecu would I delete the EWS, and what else??

secondary O2 sensors, SAP if they come with that down there. You'd have error codes related to CAN/DSC that you'd want to delete.
