You are correct. My last set of winters were essentially et25 (et35 + 10mm spacers) w 195s. Fit perfectly never rubbed....any wider, it would've rubbed a tad w people in the back.

      205 on 7.5

soooooo I have a set of gorgeous bbs rk's that unfortunately are cracked and bent, they are 17x7 on a 4x100 bolt pattern with 205/45r17 tires. I also have some borbet type E's 17x7 on a 5x120 bolt pattern. think the 205's will fit on the 7.5" wide wheel?

            Hey Guys,

I have been wondering if the 16x7,5 ET27 M3 Style 5 weaves or the alpina 16x8 ET28 could fit the IX with 215 or 225/45 without touching or having to roll fenders.

            Anyone have tried those?

            Thanks for the help !

Thank you for the read. If I were to get 4 lug to 5 lug adapters, what would be a safe size to get? Just to give me more options on wheels and such.

you're not going to fit 5 lug wheels on an ix with adapters unless they have a really high offset, like ET40-45. or unless you want ultra super stance poke.. but I might suggest the ix is the wrong car for that.

                      Thanks!

So this definitely rules out the m3 16" weaves. Too bad 16" weaves painted nogaro grey would look nice on any E30.

But what about the alpinas 16x8 with et28 any chance that we can fit those on the back of our ix with 215 or 225/45?

                      I am still not sure.

Any help would be appreciated as I am in the process of ordering alpinas but still hesitating on taking the plunge on 16x7 front and 16x8 back or 16x7 all around...

                      Thanks guys!

TR Motorsports C1 would easily fit with stock suspension, right? or would I need to run 5-10mm spacers?

                        they are 15x7, et25, with 205/55 tires

Those should fit fine. Was even thinking of those wheels myself. My acs are the same size and offset

Im a big fan of how they look, I was going to get the black ones I think. Plus they're pretty inexpensive, which is always a plus

spacers make the offset lower, so no, you don't need spacers. ET25 is already a bit on the low side, but they should fit just fine with stock suspension and 205/55 tires.

no, ET28 is too low for an 8" wheel/225 tire. you could maybe run a 205, but I'm thinking that would probably rub in the back anyway.
