they may be a little narrower than the 225's I've run - not all tires are the same, of course. I used to be hardcore and DD'd on DOT-R-Comps; now I'm old an boring, the E90 has all-seasons. :p

but in any case, a 225 will be pretty close to the strut, and may or may not rub depending on the actual tire. I feel safe saying a 15mm spacer and a 225 tire will not have clearance issues (there's at least a lot of room with my 195s, lol).

I'm running 225/50s on stock wheels with no spacers, does not rub at all any where. This is at stock height.

here's the ix weaves with 15mm spacers - this is only with 195/60R15 tires, a 205/55 or 225/50 would look better:

I think a 225/50 should fit the stock wheels just fine but only with spacers, otherwise it will rub the struts.

a quality stud kit is highly recommended BTW.

Almost tried these a couple years back as a winter setup. 15x6 ET29. To me these look more like real Alpinas than the Kopi's that were once for sale. A little narrow, but should work on our iX's

I have a pic somewhere... pretty sure I have 15mm spacers, lol.

true story - I came across my OEM ix weaves at a random wheel and tire junkyard a few years ago for $50. No idea what they were doing there, this is somewhere you would expect to find lots of domestic garbage, not ix stuff. I spent like an hour wandering around finding nothing, and when I saw them I knew immediately what they were. I think I spent $300 having them reconditioned, but the center caps alone were worth more than what I paid for the whole set..

Do it an post pics! If you look at your car with the wheels on it and add another 15mm or however big the spacer you get is, it will still out that much further

    Is abrahamsmotorsports still a thing?

I believe they only had 15 and 17 inch wheels but I could be mistaken. I'd actually love a set of the 15 inch Kopi Alpinas.

7" wide, et25 wheels do not really fit an ix. Not unless you like constant rubbing.

Any good alpina rep wheels in 16x7 et25? Or any other cool wheels in that size?

Lower offsets generally means more clearance, not less.

    Stock 325ix 15x7 offset is ET41.
