Agreed. Those might just fit in the rear, but stick way too out in the front. I have 7,5" ET35 in mine and for a stock car I wouldn't put on wider rims/smaller ET.

    Hello everyone,

I have a 325ix with stock springs and shock absorbers.
In Italy I have trouble finding BBS basketwaves 7x15 et41 rims. They are very difficult to be found.
I would like to understand if BBS with et24 (for 325i) can be mounted without them rubbing anywhere (even with passengers).
I have read all this forum and German forums and some mount them without rubbing problems and others instead say that they rub.
Does anyone currently mount BBS et24 rims without problems?
Thanks to everyone for the help

Hi, Im looking for set of BBS RS 16” 7.5J ET25, will I be able to fit them and what tyres should I run? I know that I should go for 30ET, but couldnt find any wheel that I like with ET ranging in 30s. I have stock springs.

    Gentlemen,
Just got these 16x9 ET30 Borbet type E with 215-45-16. Hopefully I don't have to much to modify!

So was go 245/45-16 tyre(Nankang sportnex AS-2+) with those japan racing 16x9, et10. They fit nicely now, i was testing in stock ix ride high and lowered. I like it...Need to take better pics next weekend when i´am install those stock ix plastic arch, not sure would these if using stock spring strut, when in these bc-racing coils had way more smaller that spring strut

    Hello...
Some update, so i still have these 16x8, ET 20 with 215/45-16 tyre, front was need 20mm adapter to clear front brake caliper rack, so ET was 0. Rear is that ET20, i had 20mm adapter in there also, was awesome looking, but was taking off that. No rubbing when i had people in the back etc. I was needed heat/roll little bit front plastic arch thing..Suspension was stock shock(bad one), with some lowering spring, not sure was those H&R, when they was purple color. The issue was these wheel was meant for frontwheeldrive car, so that´s why i was need at least 15mm adapter/spares to clear that front brake caliber

I don't have washers for spacers - but my ix has had non- hubcentric wheels for the last 10 years. With quality studs and careful wheel torquing (off the ground, unloaded) - it's not an issue at all.

Depends on whether the washers/spacers are thick enough to disengage the wheel bore from the wheel pilot on the hub.

Washers, spacers. It's all the same concept. One of my e30s is running washers, for years. Long road trips, etc. Nothing is going to blow up.
