I'd replace every bit of rubber in that engine bay. it definitely has a lot of original parts, and probably have some huge vac leaks.

Picked up some extra few things... lip spoiler, piaa sport horns, white electric side mirrors... and threw on a euro plate i had kicking around.
spent a good part of the day cleaning the crap out of the interior. while cleaning i noticed a wet spot behind the drivers seat. when i pulled back the carpet i found this...
then under the car...
it seems pretty soft inside the car. any advice? hack it out and pop rivet sheet metal in with undercoat?Comment

Vac lines seem ok. when i go to pick up my gasket kit ill grab some seafoam as well. while poking around under the hood i came across one of the major reasons why my throttle response was off and kinda sluggish. rusty/loose/cracked throttle cable...

the car was 500 bucks and i have a 300hp ng900 daily driver. its just something to tinker with and restore. im doing everything on my own and on a budget. salvage parts, craigslist part outs and cheap replacement parts. ive restored a mk2 gti vr swap with way worse rot than this. spent a little bit more than the car was worth when i picked it up and its still out there putting around to this day. im not in any rush...Comment
