Ok - i gaurantee you wont fit a 235 r-comp with a lower offset (15x7.5 ET36). Not without cutting out the rear fenders. There is less than 1/8" clearance between the lp and the sidewalls, and even with 700lb rear springs, it touches sometimes over big bumps. I also trimmed away the flares and rolled the lips flat.

Stick to pizza cutter tires and rubbing if that floats your boat. :p

So how would a 17x7 +35 wrapped with 215/40-17's fit?

I'm not looking for a stanced look, just a little more filled out, and a good solid fit.

      This thread is old :)

asteliff -- these are 17x7.5 et35 with 215/40. No fitment problems, but clearance is just about maxed out in the back. I'm lowered on H&R sports.

I don't have a lot of pics of my wheel setup...so let me know specifically what you'd like to see and I'll take some photos.

jP4- Thank you. They look to fit really well, I'd have about a quarter of an inch on either side due to the 7 vs 7.5" width. I think they will be perfect.
                    Thank you!

mines even worse than that. im just gona cut a coil out of the front on mine. im so over it sitting like that. Did you ever get those esm wheels? Ive been wating to get the same ones but not sure if i want to stick with silver like i already have or somehting else. i have 15's with 205/55/15 et35 they are just to small for my taste. would love some 17x7 et35 but cant find anything for cheap in that style AHHHHHHH. i wish this thing was 5x120!!!!! like my 7. Then this would never be a problem.
