Be aware of in front of clutch change?

So, my stock clutch is slipping on full boost from 3. gear and up, and i have got good deal on a stronger set from Sachs.
But damn im not looking forward to the job changing it, anything i should be aware of before i start?
    A DIY would be awsome.

Which method are you doing? Dropping the front subframe with the engine out from under the car or removing the engine out the front of the car and leaving the tranny in the car?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

The plan is to drop the transmission, but im open for ideas that will make it easyer/faster.

it seems alot harder than it is. If you get the car jacked up high enough that will make things very easy. Ive done it twice by myself with but I recommend getting help from someone

Minor tip: If you have a couple of pedal cluster bolts around, use them as guide pins for the subframe and the you can lower the whole assembly 1-3 inches for access.

On a rear drive car, you can swap (IIRC) the rear subframe bolts to the front holes and get the subframe down about an inch. I expect that the same applies to the iX, but check the bolt lengths on RealOEM.

You should be able to get to all of the bolts using extensions and a wobble bar.

On an iX, make sure you buy all of the shifter components for a rebuild - you can't get to them with the transfer case installed, so it's pretty dumb not to refresh everything while you are in there. :)
