a street 245 may fit but it's going to be tight, you'll need the perfect offset and you'll have to work the rear fender flares a bit so you can roll the lips.

Hey, yeap! thats the one. Do you know anything about it? I keep finding out new things as I dig deeper. I reallllly want to find the hitch for it, I found the hitch completely hidden, and I don't think its ever been used, but the weird euro ball arm thing that goes into it is no where. I wont pull anything big, just a small sail boat or something.

But yeah, I want something with some lip and that is 15 inches as I have a good set of 15" 215/55/15's. I was thinking the rotas because I like the lip and they kinda suit the age of the car. And i really like how Nando's car sits, would the 8 inch wide RB's look similar?

well i think it doesnt matter how wide wheel you use as long it doesnt hit your fender... you should just think look/driveable ratio when choosing rims.. i prefer look on my car... and if i put 10 wide to rear, it will come out a lot, so i need to get stiff springs..

Here is 8,5x17 front with et13 and 10 wide rear et 15, tyres are 235/45

compared to aluminum, they will definitely be heavier.

Those work RSB wheels, they look just like the wheels I have on an old mini

well it depends of wheel, usually cast aluminium wheels weigth something between 5-10kg each, with forged rims you could go around 3.5-5kg... we have quite lights steel rims here.. homemade 9x15 steel rim

and if you use car on the street, does the weight really matter? do you go to shop and ask always lightest wheels? nope, i prefer look better...
with steel rims, you can make as wide as you want and choose you offset...
that gives you perfect fit.. im going to make steel rims 7 wide for winter and give it a tyre 175-195 wide..
                            rally look :)

Home made Steel wheels are those D.O.T. approved? Legal?
There are plenty of light weight steel wheels from Bart and Aero Wheel. but they are not D.O.T. approved or street Legal. Leave you liable for anything that could happen if you get in an accident.

I really like the steel wheels, I always wanted to widen some on an old 740 wagon I used to have. Thanks for everyone's help, I think Im going to go with some royal gun metal 15x8 RB's et 35.
