i don't think it has an inspection interval. make sure you use the right grease. molycote br or equivalent. i think if you lube the shit out of it, you could check it every year or two and be safe.

yeah, every year or so. the right grease will not dry out and turn into powder.

I bought a 10oz tube on McMaster, and chances are that it will last longer than me.

I think I know the answer to this, but I would love if someone else gave their input. I got this stuff from O'Reilly's: MasterPro Super Lithium EP Moly Grease (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/attac...oly-grease.jpg), which I used to put on the spline when I rebuilt the front right side of my car (new CA bushing/ball joints, new struts, new sway bar link, de-rustified everything, repacked CV joints). I was being lazy/in a rush so I just grabbed this stuff off the shelf.

The reason I chose it was because this guy says to use EP Moly grease, http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110940.

Should I take out the drive shaft and buy some better stuff? The more I read about it, the more paranoid I'm getting that I'm going to ruin my half shaft. Is the stuff you guys got from McMaster : 10605K42?

                Thanks!
