What headers are considered the best fitment and price out there for the ix?

I don't think there are too many restrictions with headers for the ix, so whatever is the best price/fitment for a normal e30. I just have stock now but am thinking about some bravauto ceramic coated long tubes. The only thing to worry about is the cv boot getting too hot and prematurely failing, hence ceramic coated.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Yeah I saw that. Not quite ready for performance upgrades yet, still working on maintenance.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I called them out on it and they admitted it was more like 15, but that is with the old 14.5 single port injectors. Regardless, I will post a dyno run of my own in a month or so. So I guess dreaming is not really accurate. What kind of gains are you thinking?

Id be impressed if you break 150whp on a dynojet
Not hating on you, I'm sure it will be an improvement, but 20whp on an ix is a big task from a small motor.Last edited by nando; 12-16-2013, 05:42 PM.

Not sure about with the Miller stuff, but I just got well over 150 with RD headers, one of our stock rebuilt heads, and our dyno chip tune. No porting, stock AFM etc. 200+k mile bottom end RWD e30, so an ix will be lower.
EDIT: 155.26whp/154.16wtq as you can see, the chip was only worth about 2whp/3wtq.

Yes, my point exactly. I have tuned numerous cars on the dyno, we have thousands of graphs just from this year alone, the only time we saw any kind of big gain was on my personal car which went from 124whp to 148, but that's because the WOT switch on the TPS is broken and instead of changing it (being lazy), just tuned it out lol.
