Yea, my inlaws loved being picked up from skiing with the top down. A great car for the mountains, but I doubt it's going to see snow any more.

post this up in the ix section, maybe with pictures of your restoration.
Always loved Baurs. When I was a kid, I had a Baur E30 matchbox car that was one of my favorites. Still have it actually. Didn't even know what a BMW was back then. :p

Take good care of that car!
An A/C retrofit is absolutely no problem on an E30. Just takes patience.
What I want to know is where your ski bag went lol. It's right there - option 464!

10 years ago, you used to be able to find iX Baurs in Switzerland all the time. I looked at several before this one showed up. Only a few of them had a similar amount of options. I really wished I could have found one with A/C, but still I'm very satisfied with this one. :)

I'll take a 704 M-Sport and the 829 convertible conversion package please. that is an incredible build sheet

Before I found this car, I had never seen any iX with an MT2 kit. Very occasionally you see them here in Switzerland, but they are pretty rare. Which is strange, because the MT2 looks so good on with these cars with the iX extensions.
Mine actually came from the factory with this kit.

That late model Baur really is incredible.
I think I just decided to MT2 my IX

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words.
It's been off the road for the last 3 years getting a full restoration, so I doubt it's going to see much snow in the future. I've got 4 years to go before I can register it as a classic car here in Switzerland.
