Here's some more pics, but I can't see to get Photobucket to work. For some reason it comes back as being too large.

Hi guys,
This seems like the best thread to introduce myself. My name is Kevin and I am a very lucky owner of a 325ix Baur. I have to say that these cars are really awesome and that it is definitely one of the most fun cars I have. It’s not super fast nor does it corner as well as some of the other cars we have, but it’s just a blast to drive. Not to mention that Baur made the best E30 convertibles. As beautiful as the full convertibles are, the Baur is the better car. Drop the rear, and leave the targa top in while enjoying the breeze…
We took it to the Sahara back in 2008. 6000 km and it didn’t miss a beat.
If everything goes well, I’ll have my car at Baur Club Stand at the Retro Classics in Stuttgart in two weeks. Still a few small details to get sorted out.
I need to figure out how to post some pictures here.

I am not 100% sure? I was told in the past Baur would reinforce the body on frame rail next to doors.

i bought the roof with the intention of actually building this very car one day. i didn't actually know the company built such a thing.
here is a link to my original for sale thread. i still have it. at some point, i decided not to sell, then sell, then not sell. i guess i probably won't do anything with it any time soon.

If i had room to store it until i could get around to use it. I would but. I barley have room for the stuff i got now haha

If you get the chance, please invite him to join us on the Baurspotting blog and/or Baurspotting on Facebook! We would love to welcome him to our Baur community. Is he registered with the international Baur Registry? Thank you!

I have a friend in Virginia that has a 1985 320i Baur. I actually performed the rear disk conversion on the car before he shipped it home.
