pretty sure inner E34 are identical to the inner E30. outter E34 are the same as the outter E46.
I'm somewhat interested. I don't think there's anything wrong with the material (it's meant to hold the grease inside it, der). I think most of the damage is from exhaust heat and lowered cars.
the only outter boot I've had fail in 12 years is from tracking the car and getting the hubs up to like 900 degrees. the boot didn't really even fail but it melted a bit and a little bit of grease came out around the clamps.
if you are stock and failing boots ever 2-3 years I don't know. Seems wrong. even with extreme lowering I get about the same amount out of mine.
What would be worth it to me would be to not have to replace them as often. I basically keep them in stock since I know they will only last so long. but mostly it's because they rub together and the exhaust heats them up..

E30 and E34 (and E46 on the outer) have different part number on the inner but they might fit anyway :) I dont have any E30 boots i could try on the E34 parts..
But if anyone can measure inner diameter of the E30 boots i can check the E34 ones.E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
