              I'm not kidding. lol. it's in my watch list...

              a new chain is $900.

              a new VC is $600 or so

              new sprockets (if one is damaged) - $600+

              then you still have old bearings, gaskets, and seals. The seals add up to like $180. I haven't priced bearings lately.. and some stuff is just NLA.

                I would love to buy this and just hide it under my bed until my current tc bites the bullet
                and yea I was definitely expecting a higher price I feel like you used to buy these rebuilt from the dealer for this price

                  They were $1200 at one point a few years ago. I should have bought one immediately!

                  still can't decide if I should splurge or not. that's basically enough to buy a new motor.. I'm thinking I could rebuild one of my cores and sell it to offset part of the cost, but I've had it for 3 years without making much progress. :(
