    You could maybe adapt a dogleg G265 from an M3... but why?

    The E34 525iX used the ZF 310 with 1:1 fifth, but the bellhousing pattern is at the 24V angle.

        There are custom built dogleg 260 Getrags. I know someone who builds them. If anyone want his information feel free to PM me. They would be very expensive though.

        I agree - there is no reason to build a dog leg for an iX because you can only go down to 3.64. The car would feel like it was running 4.44 gears with a stock .81 5th gear.

        Yes, I seriously doubt it, but that does not mean someone has not done it though. I was merely posing a possibility to explain why someone could be taching 4,000 in 5th gear.
