    Ix Brake master cylinder

    Hi Everyone,

Now that the ix Brake Master cylinders are no longer available from BMW.
Does anyone know of any other Brands or repair kits or any other way of repairing our master cylinders?
Sorry in advance if it's been discussed before.

Any Info. would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Per MattPro:

E32/E34 735/535/M5 master bolts right up and is much cheaper than the stock iX unit. Slightly larger bore to my knowledge so pedal feel will be a bit more firm.

I used an E34 master, but I had to redo the lines going into it because the fittings are larger.

Overall I really like the firmer feel.

Couldn't you use a rebuild kit from any RWD E30? Since the internals are the same (IIRC).
