Hi this is my first post on this forum, this is my second e30. A beautiful 325ix 1988 with 5 speed manuel and every option possible except sport seats(don't get why?maybe in canada). I have the original receipt of the car and the only option added were leather seat and mettalic paint...46 000$ here in canada
Drives like new, have a shitload of maintenance receipt and few rust for a quebecer 25 yo car. Will be puttind bilstein and h&r spring when i'll put the bbs back and a hartge rear valence and a is lip in front.
Just finished my bumper swap for plastic ones
Its a 4 door, thats why it didn't get sport seats.
In Canada we didn't get the 2dr ix in '88. All 88's were 4drs and manual transmission, but were fully optioned (including sport seats) like 88's in the USA. If your car didn't have sport seats its because they were removed at some point during the car's lifespan. Or maybe the original owners opted for the comfort seats instead of the sports, and thats why its on the original receipt, since the sport seats would have been standard.
No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
I recently learned the hard way that you shouldn't store a car outside and then neglect to do anything with it for over a year. I thought I was doing the car a favor and not driving it around these shitty roads and salty winter conditions but apparently I was wrong.
Paint is f*cked everywhere:
Clearcoat is peeling off the hood and one of the foglights was smashed open and flooded with water.
