The rear axles are the same. I'm pretty sure he was looking for front axles since he specified it being for an iX.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

i read about guys in sweden or finland modifying audi shafts, but i think you still need part of your old IX shaft. I really have no idea. I asked about it once and everyone said it was crazy and more than its worth. I guess they hold up better to huge torque though.88 325 IX DiamantSchwarz - TOURING - waiting...

unless you are going to be doing 6k clutch drops with the wheels turned full lock, it's not going to make much difference.
what suspension will you be using? there's a realistic limit to how low you can make an ix and keep suspension travel. I just have a hard time believing that they're going to suddenly explode after all the abuse I've put on front CV shafts that have over 250,000 miles on them, and my car is pretty low (during the summer anyway).

Slammed on coilovers, I had one brake, When i was on h&rs. I noticed it had a crack in the cage of the cv when i was rebuilding them. Blew apart prolly 3 months later at and auto-x. Im not saying im going to be putting down enough power to blow them apart, one day im aiming for 300whp, weekend warrior, i was just curious of other options out there.
