I see the tape underneath did you use any kind of release agent?

The foam comes off fairly easily. I used the tape to help make it easier to come off. I've already tested it. The foam is naturally resistant to the fiberglass (already did a test spot) but I'm debating on waxes or some other things I can put on to help the fiberglass release.

probably a soft furniture wax. You could also use drywall compound to get it real smooth(sand it) then shellac it, then wax it for release.

I didn't want it to look M3 because, well, it isn't. So I went with accentuating the stock lines and giving the lip an M6 (new M6) look.

It looks like you forgot to think before you applied the "Great Stuff."

Once it gets painted, I'm sure it will blend in perfectly, as if it rolled out of Munich looking like that.
