it doesn't create a ram effect. just forget about that. all it does is ensure that cool air gets to the filter.

Ok i know what your thinking, that ill have a short cone filter but no. This will be a direct ram air to afm. The filter will be inside the piping. once im done will be sure to post about it.

plus with an AFM in the way, it's moot.

I wonder if a subwoofer port would make a good funnel for the air? Not even sure you can get them that big though.

that's what I made mine out of, it ended up being a perfect fit for the headlight actually.
