    ES front to E

I have been looking around at members cars on her I have grown to reallt like the look of the plain 325e front withthe black rubber on the bottom. How would i go about converting my front es to this look?

Mount the lip and remove the es air dam.

its not that easy you need a valnce from an E car you cant fit a lip on the valance under and ES air dam

The metal valance is different? I was sure that it was just a plain old stock valance the eS airdam was bolted too.

Me too. I can't see a difference between mine and a non-S car.

I'm pretty sure the valence is the same also. I am going with a plain eta air dam on my 89 vert because I'm not running an oil cooler on my m30 and I donated my stock lip to my son's car which was missing the lip. The lip with no opening for cooler is a little cleaner looking and reduces drag coefficient by .ooooo1;)

                  Valance is the same....

The early stock front end can look sexy if done right:

the black rubber/lip is different, 84-86 are shorter and will not bolt to a 87 valance.

84-85 is different from 86-87. Since he has an eS, he can run the later style lip but not the early.

But there is a non-S lip to replace the nice es/is air dam, so it's still bolt on. Just has to match his year.

Yes, thats what I'm trying to say but wanted to point out that the 84-85 lip and valance is different.
