Ehh it's not that bad. It's not like it peels off. The clips on my grill broke (or were broken when i got the car which is more likely) and someone gave me a set for free a bit over a year ago. I just rattle canned them black and they have no chips in about 10k of driving, just a few small nicks from tools and working on my engine with the hood off.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Yesterday i had some free time on my hands and i thought why not paint my grill (it was faded gray pretty bad) so i decided to paint them. Took like 3 minutes to take off my grill and kidneys and to the paint shop (my patio) it went. I think it looks pretty cool. Feedback would be nice. Thanks!Originally posted by dvckI'm going to say this nicely; go fuck yourself.

both of my E30s had rattle canned black kidneys. the zinno car got some nice chrome ones, on my alpine car, I just sanded down the kidneys so it has more of a machined look. I like it. it all comes down to personal preferenceSimon
