I installed the brake ducts today and realized I am missing a part the connects to the inside of the fender liner and I am not sure what part number to look for. Can anyone help me identify this part?

The brake ducts on these cars only went as far as the fender liner to avoid getting damaged by the wheel and tire under normal use. They help some, but aren't meant to work like a racing setup would.Interested in vintage cars? Ever thought about racing one? I think this isn't his actual car and he is asking about the splash guard/panel."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

I do have plastic bumpers and late model valence, I just don't know if I order a part that it will fit in my car. It is pretty impossible to find any parts where I am in Maine. New England on a whole is pretty sparse as far as BMWs.sigpic

I do have the two studs above the brakes, however I cant find the part up in Maine. There are literally no E30's in any parts yard. I am hoping that I don't have to drive my car in the snow and expose it to salt, if I do I will have to track down this part and replace one of my wheel well liner as well as find some mud flaps.sigpic

So I finally managed to track down this part (51711965899) and I am having some trouble figuring out how to mount it. I have the studs on the car, but I don't know what size nut to get and the ones i have on hand arent the right size. Does anyone know how this part is mounted and what nuts I need to hold it in place? I am derusting the threads and plan on getting some nuts from the hardware store to mount it.sigpic
