U did get them... but I dunno if they were unique 2 South Africa.

They came on our 325iS Evo 2... was actually more of a diffuser, as it ran a little under the car... was to help stop the tail happiness

Here is a pic of a custom one...

Here is a couple of the real thing.

HERES a nice write up that shows how it is mounted on the E36 .

For mounting to the MT2 spoiler I was just going to screw it right into the underside of the spoiler not using the nutserts .

It screw onto the spoler from underneath .
It has holes in a little recess underneath ...on the E36 you sre supposed to use the little plastic nutserts to screw into .

Give me a minute and I'll post pics or a link to a E36 write-up and it will be more clear .

showing how dumb I am, how does the E36 lip fit on the M bumper? What kind of modding am I going to have to do to get this to stay under the Mtech spoiler?

Sorry for the questions, I have been looking for something like this for some time.

    Thanks man!

I think there are a few places that sell a replica lip for around $75-$80 or so .
Pretty sure the OE lip goes for over a bill .
Although used ones can go for as little as $40 at times ..though for this I wouls suggest using a new one and not a used scuffed up one .

Its too wide by a few inches .
But because the sides flare out and extend the lip forward it will look the best and appear the most OE of all the ones I've looked at or have noticed .

Seems like the best plan is to cut the additional width right out of the center of it and then reatach it and smooth it over .
But I will still be leaving the lip a seperate removeable pice from the spoiler itself .

    T,

How far off is the E36 M lip to have to modify it to fit?
