The "i" lip works but its a little short on the ends .
I've been plating with various Honduh and VDub lips but I'm most likely going to modify an E36 M3 lip to worp befor the car goes in for paint .

Its a bondoed POS "eta" . What else is there to know ?
Looks like his might be slightly modded or something .
I would try and track one of them down but probably modify the E36 m3 lip first .
If it turns out decent then maybe I could replicate them somehow .
Hell I've always been good with paper mache' . :)
Oh and the white one above from NZ definitely looks like it has lost its lip among other things along the years .
That ft spoiler is beat .
The Evo 1 was built in 03/1990, the Evo 2 was 03/1991 and the Evo 3 was 05/1991.
Strangely, my car was an 05/1990 build, but its an Evo 1 car. No biggie.
Evo 2 and 3 are identical spec.
Also, the Evo 1 motors were based on Early C2 2.7 spec, using the alpina bottom end and a modified 325i head, using a cam more agressive than a 325i, but less than the C2 cam.
The Evo 2 used a full C2 (B3 dependent on market) 2.7 motor, including the head with the larger exhaust valves.
Mine is the only 1 in the country, but we have a couple of 2's, i'll see if I can get some really good pics of the splitter and undertray.
I have the Aluminium body panels. The part numbers don't even come up. My Evo 1:
Germany didn't get these cars "Evo 1 and 2" because they had the M3 to comete as a racecar, and SA didn't. All the speccy parts are BMW SA built and produced to compete against the Opel Superboss in Group N.
very interesting on the lip spoiler.
i wonder how come germany didint even get that stuff, or why there is nothing in the ETK about it??
heck, in the land of BMW I would have thought at the million BMW shows Ive been to that some german would know about them, and have one.!
great find though.
the pic M technik put up, thats not even a Tech II front end on that car.
here is a pic of an evo 2 for sale i found on google .de
doesnt have it, and if you look at the wheels, they are actually E34 wheels-odd.
OK I told you that I remeber pics of shithead Andre's car with the lip I thought was OE .
Well as it turns out and as was previously posted it was just an "i" lip mounted underneath .
There used to be good pics online but I could not find them hosted anymore .
But Qimis has also ran the same set-up though :
Looks like he ran that in 04' and says it was a plain old "i" lip attached underneath .
Looks good but fuck that .
Now you know the one I was mentioning I said looked more like the E36 M3 lip and it actually extended outward from the spoiler ....not just hang below it .
Well it seems like it was indeed a OE part that was offered on the SA 325is EVO2 cars .
Here a few pics of 2 different cars with the OE lip attached :
Looks just like I described it and is waay better than just tacking on a "i" lip .
I would try and source one of these or like I said the other day just fab one up from the E36 lip like we held up for comparison .
Just needs to narrowed a bit and it looks like it should fine for the most part .
Oh and here are a few specs for the SA Evo1 and Evo2 that I found which states what the Evo2 came with :
EVO I
aluminium, bonnet and boot lid
2.7lt motor same pistons as Alpina B3 2.7
Head was same as 2.5,with revised larger valves, alpina 276 cam

M3 E30 Suspension 5 Hole wheels BBS
M-Tech 2 Body Kit
145 Kw Motor

Looks like it is more than just a lip since it mentions "under tray" ...either way it sounds pretty cool .
Also how kick-ass would it be to round up the Evo1's aluminum body parts ?
Case closed .
Now hurry up and deliver those Euro weaves to me . ;)
