Throw some black paint on the filler. I did that to mine and it looked brand new.

Yeah, I'm going to use my can of Duplicolor Trim Coating on it....along with my spoiler.

I couldn't get the spoiler off, and then just planned to wait on the filler too. Plus, other things came up I had to be involved with.

Where has everyone ordered theirs from? Everyplace i've seen says it's special order and has to get me a quote. The closest dealer is like 1 1/2 hours away so it's not reasonable for me to head there unless it's a last resort.

I got mine a couple of months ago from Greg (M-technik-3) He's our euro part Hook-up.

Same story with many of our members, just check on the Transaction Feedback forum for him.

I got mine from Greg too...it was a little faded, but a lot less than I would expect. He's very good to deal with.

Looking good robert  I got mine from Greg as well.
Instead of painting..try some paint cleaner, zymol cleaner wax, and some P21s, Zymol creme, or meguiars gold class wax on that filler..that's what I did, and now it's deep glossy black. 8)

I didn't pay just for the filler to be put on..I had it put on with paint job #2 and all the other stuff I added this past summer.
But yes..I don't do work on my car. I never will. I don't trust myself so I leave it to the pros.
I don't see what is wrong with that.
The majority of the BMW cca members in my chapter are just like me.

I'd rather spend my time playing ball, lifting or hanging with my girl, bro, or friends.
When I do Have time..I clean my car. My automotive hobby is car care. I have so much supplies..an insane ammount (3 shelves full). my best stuff is zymol estate glaze hand crafted wax..the atlantique & destiny.

I do consider myself a car enthusiast...just one that isn't hands-on like all of you are.
                regards
                JW

                  thanks for the compliments Jim.

But half the members of your CCA are lazy affluent men, with families and real jobs, and mistresses and hernias. I think you're young and can handle a little bit of hands-on activity. Plus, drillin is fun! :D

I agree..My hands-on activities in regards to my car is detailing, which I do routinely every weekend when I have an hour or 2 to spare. When I do a full detail / waxing process/everything I spend a whole saturday 7am to 3pm. I work at a slow place while doing the full zymol process. I do this about 6-7 times a year. :pimp:

The only things Ive done hands-on other than that is the install of my, taillights, blacked out side markers, install front seat, & front and rear speakers which I replaced with all new digital audio speakers. I just installed my front seat with an as new seat this weekend 8) I'll get some photos of that after my new bmw oem floor mats arrive.

robert, your car is progressing nicely
Keep up the good work on your car homes

The general consensus thus far has been 'no.'

Ken: I already explained myself you fag
I have better stuff do be doing with my time.
What is the problem with that..So what yor hands-on, I'm not. I leave it to someone I can trust & will get it done right..whereas I may not.
I was getting a full paint job and just told the shop to put the filler on for me since I had it laying around. Is there a problem with that  They didn't charge me for it.
