Holy crap, I work at BMW/Volvo salvage yard. I am going to go and find one of these and set it next to my IS lip and see how it looks.

Did you get that from the Brown Field Ecology or the one on Energy Way, and was it sitting in front of an e30? If so, I was thinking of the same thing. ;) I took one off of a Volvo at the E.W. Ecology and mocked it up to an e30, but I never thought of flipping it upside down...I only had money for carpet and some other stuff (which I really needed), so I left it.

Even if it wasn't that one, I bet it'll be gone by the time I make it back over there. That does look good, though; nice job!

Since i probably will never remove the chip guard off the valance. i thought it would be easier to spray chip guard on to the lip- for better flow. Didn't turn out too bad.......right?

I still think it needs a splitter..........

i think it was the brown field ecology. You have to flip the lip, it wouldn't fit other wise. Don't worry they get volvo's in the salvage yard all the time.

What did you spray the lip with? The texture looks really close to the valence.

I'm not to 'up' on the RWD Volvos anymore, but it looks like you can get it off the 740 or 940 wagon or sedan, as long as they have those huge 'tv-screen' style headlights. The early generations of the 740 had 4 square headlights (US models) but I'm not sure what the underside of the front end looks like anymore. 960's will not have the same part under the bumper.

Thanks for the advice and walkthrough, CRIS!

I picked up 3 of these lips today from our local yard. If anyone is interested in one, PM me.
