mtech 2 steering wheel on e30

hello! Looking to buy a Mtech 2 steering for my 89 e30. What hub is needed to make this steering wheel fit? Currently, I have 4 spoke OEM steering wheel.

The hub is moulded into the steering wheel just like your current one, so you can just swap them over (both are OEM steering wheels)

You don't need a hub, just an additional spacer (PN-32311120260) to go between the wheel and the original spacer.

Part is NLA from BMW, but Race German makes one – I got mine from them:

Washers from the hardware store can be used too; but if you're anything like me, you'll want the *optimal* solution.

      * And make sure to disconnect your battery for an hour or so before removing the airbag wheel.

Additionally, unplug or outright remove (I did the latter) the airbag computer to avoid triggering the SRS light.

think he's got a non-airbag car so it's just a straight swap with no spacer needed.

really?! had no idea. The mtech 2 wheel (online listing) I want says e36 mtech 2 wheel.

So, I literally just take the hub off the mtech 2 steering wheel and swap my current one onto it?

No, although the look of the wheel is the same, an e36 steering wheel will not fit an e30.

The hubs can't be swapped, they're integrated into the steering wheel. You want either an e30 or e34 M-tech 2.

Early E34 wheel, later ones use the same hub as E36 but then I think E34's only got the larger 385mm size.

seems like every AD I find on ebay, it doesn't say e30 specific. What about this one ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/20423861091...Bk9SR-yx1N_QYQ

The e30 one has straight across spokes . E36 dips down on the sides . Also in the back hub it has those notches for the steering wheel lock . E36 doesn’t
