1990 325ix mtech 1 steering will not fit for some reason. I removed my airbag steering wheel and when i go to slide the steering wheel on the splines it only goes just a little bit. There is more than an inch gap to the steering column. I have turned the key to lower the wheel lock and have tried spacers on both sides to no avail. Ive removed the white pin as well. I have 2 mtech 1 steering wheels have they both slide right on my 1989 325i non airbag car. So I know it’s not the steering wheel splines. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
