Airbag to non-airbag wheel retrofit Q-- how do I connect the new horn?

    Hi all,
I purchased a very nicely refurbished m-technik 370mm (part # 32332226086) airbag wheel that came with a horn.

    - I also bought the Race German wheel spacer HERE

    - and the headlight (part # 61311375190) and wiper (part # 61311377979) stalks for cars with no airbags

We are assembling things now and can't figure out how to connect the horn.

You’re missing the horn contact ring. You should be able to transfer it from your old airbag wheel IIRC. It’s on the back, held on by two Phillips screws

        My installer just wrote:

Is that only for going from no airbag to no airbag? This one has three 5mm nuts holding the airbag clock spring. The horn slider contact snaps into that...

        Does that make any sense?

          Is this what's missing? Part # 32331152896
          https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...85#32331152896

          Looks available for $20ish
          https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...g/32331152896/

That part # does not cross reference with the airbag wheel which uses slip ring: 32341156363

Although it does look like the non-airbag slipring might be the same part as the airbag one, just with an extra base for the airbag:

Confirmed from all... the new wheel needs the non-airbag slip ring and two bolts... Ordered from Pelican Parts that had it in stock.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen an OG airbag wheel’s horn contact ring I didn’t remember if it was the same or not. Glad you got it sorted
