Steering Wheel Repair Question? (Mtech II)

^Bought it from a dude from Lithuania,Europe.

Seller refunded me all my money for the wheel yesterday. He just wanted to close the deal I guess,no hassles. Good for me,at least I got my money back.
And in other news,I found a machine shop today that will fix it.

Hey Archie glad to here you found some one to machine it out..
Sorry I couldn't do it. Just to worried about f-ing it up while chucking it up...

Did you cut up the donor wheel yet?
If you got your machine shop doing both make sure the cut both to the same size
I.D on the wheel O.D on the donor, easy peasy pop the donor splines in the freezer and
the press then press the frozen splines into the wheel, thaw then add nice clean tig welds to finish the fix...

I dropped both off with the guy. Says he's got it handled. Take about a day or two cuz he is catching up from his vacation over the holidays. I feel good about this one, says he can do it.

I almost got one for super cheaps, but the guy bent it, damaged the splines, and then tried to raise the price on me. :(

Yes I was happy that part of the deal went smoothly. I offered to even send the wheel back. He said to keep it.
Two months later and it's done.
(not counting my first Mtech II mistake):( lol
