If you are concerned enough about safety to necessitate a 5 point, then you should also understand the dangers of adjustable seats. if you want to run 5 points, do it right, with a roll bar and buckets

      Fricking hot man. :)

The silverish accent works great with your car's color.

Wouldn't the seat bracket make it protrude less underneath the car? I don't get it...

Look very nice, are they very supportive though? I'm a tall lanky guy. How about leaning the seat forward? I like to be biting the wheel when I'm autocrossing.

I had the same problem when I installed my Recaro SRD's. On the driver side you either have to cut the bolt or put spacers on top otherwise you could possibly puncture one of your lines underneath. That would not be too good. Looks awsome MAtt.

I had the brackets custom made at a welding shop. I painted them so they dont rust too. I already installed the brackets, but I will check to see if they hit the fuel lines. The brackets are 18" long. The front ones go in 1.5" from the sides, then 90' up 1", hten over. The rear are flat. They are made of 1/4" flat bar mild steel.

About support, I am 6'5" 230, and they fit me perfectly. You can adjust it so you are very straight up, and you can also lean foward (to get to rear seat).

                        Matt,

Looks interesting... I just bought some racing seats off ebay for $280 for two. I'll post them once I get them installed...

Looks good man... Though they seem a bit 'fatter' than SRDs but more like RSX seats...

If you search the seller of that auctions other items, and go to page 11 or so you'll see the same seat over and over with different logos(honda crap, TRD, ect...) too bad he don't show one with NO logo...

Are ebay searts like that known to get torn up quickly? (jordan?)

BTW, he actually charges moer for the seats you bought then than all the others...I guess the different logo 'add value'....

But what the hell - they look nice, and if they fit good... :wgaf:

Can't speak for those particular seats but not all "cheap" seats are poor quality. Some are going to be better than others. Mike A got a pair of Sparco's from ebay for like $280....I got a pair of Tenzo Type R's with brackets/sliders for $315 delivered and with deals like that it's hard to go wrong. I have since reupholstered my seats so the quality of the cloth is a non issue.
