hahaha actually I have NO power windows - well not yet - I have the parts for the conversion just not enough time to do it.
The switch is for the sunroof so I don't have to reach up for it - not that I am lazy or anything :)

Soviet, you should look into SEM Texture Coating. It is a spray on texture to give plastics that grain texture. Depending on the imperfections, you can hide a bit, but making it as smooth as possible is the way to do it.

Any quality auto body supply place should have it

a piece of 10mm mdf wrapped in some heavy vinyl - same stuff I used for around the touchscreen. The vinyl is not a perfect match to the rest of the console/dash but it is close enough - the difference between the materials looks worse in the pictures than what it really is.
It is screwed to the console from the bottom.

i costumized an e46 console and armrest and fit it in my car, its pretty much 95% done, i just need to clean it up a little (sand it down n crap) here are the pictures
