uh, what cars? as far as I knew the oncoming traffic is in the left lane. unless you are on a multi lane road and driving in the left lane, it won't matter, but even then it's not going to be anywhere near as blinding as some asshole tailgating you in their giant SUV...

word for suv drivers being cocks...

I have an adjustable cut-off in my bi-xenon ellips- I set them to the angled cut off- nobody flashes their brights or anything... and i see the side of the road alot better at any speed. Its all in how your align them.

What about cars going the same direction as you, having ur blinding HIDs in their rearview mirror.

With my car as low as it is, friggin halogens blind me, imagin what HIDs would do.

it's such a non issue. it's not going to blind cars direcly in front of me because the cutoff is to their right, and cars to the right of me won't be directly in front of my lights. also, if they are so annoying they can dim their rear view mirror like I have to every time a big truck is behind me.

doesnt help side mirrors- but still... not really something to worry about- you live with it.

If you had HIDs in Euro ellips you'd notice just how badly you illuminate the interiors of cars in lanes to the right of you. I notice it very much while on maXbimmer cruises and such where so many guys have HIDs in Euro housings (E36 as well), it gets annoying quick.

think anybody would be interested in a custom housing like mine to fit bi-xenons? probably run $100-200 and wouldnt include anything but the housing...

You seriously think anybody here can afford TWO sets of HIDs?

LOL, you have no idea what bi-xenon's are do you?

If you did, you know how stupid you just sounded.

Bixenons are high and low beam xenons, no? If they are are one filament then I was wrong in my perception.

Bi-xenons have nothing to do with the filament, its the projector housing that it uses.

The cut off is a motorized flap that moves up when highbeams are engaged, thus exposing the blinding intensity of the HIDs everywhere, and blinding watever pooor soul lies ahead.

High Beams = Hids with no cut off.
Low Beams = Hids with cut off.
                            = Bi-xenons.

Im sure there might be exceptions, but this is how they usually come OEM with projectors.
