Where on earth did you get that price?! Wow. For a new set, thats absurd.

Don't mean to jack your thread, but I still got a set, check the FS/WTB section.

*EDIT* if you buy just the smoked Hella lamp inserts, that will set you back around 190 Euro (ask Greg AKA M-Tecknic-3).
    Reminiscing...

Problem is is that the dollar just keeps getting weaker and weaker. Todays rate 1.28 to buy 1 euro so the lights for 190 euro is $243 before shipping.

I wanted euro smoked heallights for my car, until i saw them in person. I didn't like them at all....so i bought clear ones instead, and they look great!!

I might do what nick did with his us ellips. For now though I'm going to rock them clear, who knows I might like the way it looks better :)

I've seen smoked in person and I still think they look badass

            Guys

I know it's cool, but what i did was very difficult, and not as easy as it looks. I will have an article up soon, but trust me when i say it's not easy.

The purpose of lights are to brighten the road and improve vision. Smoking them sounds like you're voluntarilly making them less bright for cosmetic reasons.

To each his own, i suppose.

Well, to be fair I am sure there is a slight effect on the high beam.

In my opinion, its either smoked lights and a chrome kidney, or clear lights and a black kidney. I would go for clear personally.

my thoughts exactly, you don't want to make the whole grill area look somewhat the same color, you've gotta have something that stands out
