just picked up a set of US ellipsoids for my car :) $125 and then a set of prolumen 6000k xenon/hid from

      http://www.umnitza.com/product_info....roducts_id=305

      $275 shipped :)

I can't wait to get all this so i could throw them all in!

Now I've read about the fuses issues, would you suggest upgrading my use and doing that modification just in case? Would it hurt if I did it anyways, but didn't need it?

I never had to upgrade mine. Try it out first, if you blow the fuse on startup, you know you need a bigger one

I think I had to run 10amps. They would pop occasionally on startup.
          Im now E30less.

so try it out with my stock fuse first and if anything happens then throw in a 10 amp fuse?

Sure, or just upgrade it, it's not a big deal

I rather be on the safe side and just upgrade it and leave it alone.

Has anyone ever ran into any issues even after the upgrades though, that's something I'm wondering about...

I also upgraded to 10amps. Mine would only pop on startup.

My only issue is that the HIDs are so much brighter than my highs/fogs there seems to be something wrong with them.

                      lol

Same thing here. You can only notice the very outer 10% of the swath of the fogs. I was thinking about a 3800 kit for the fogs but then decided I was going WAY overboard. Im just gonna get some yellow halogens.

As for issues with the upgraded fuse. I have been running fogs for, I think, about 2 years now. No problems whatsoever. Upgrading solved the popping on startup thing and beyond that they have been awesome.
                        Im now E30less.

I am so glad that you guys posted that tip on upgrading the headlight fuses to 10 amp fuses. My HIDs would work intermittently. And more recently, the left side completely went out. I popped in two fresh 10A fuses and they started up perfectly. I am happy again!

I considered HID fogs too but ended up thinking the same thing.

I am very happy with my yellow fogs, I love the look

I don't know, just thought maybe anyone would have some input on it or had experience with anything that came up afterward...
