I'm not going to argue with your decision to choose plastic, but read my post about the glass ones. I have no regrets with them. Also, the guy I bought from in Russia was super cool and offered to ship a second pair for free when the post office "lost" them. I ended up having to go to several offices to find them and get them before they were returned to Russia.

As for costs, $20 for the glass is dirt cheap. $30 for international shipping is completely reasonable for the package size and weight, especially because of how well packed they were. Like I said, I'm happy.

will see how big the packaging is when I get mine, I expect they will rock up in a padded envelope. Because of the exchange rate my freight is $42 + $27.85 for the glass. Sure the glass is cheap but $42 is a bit rude for surface mail on an item you can fit in your hand.

thought I would update this.

I received the lenses just now.. Rather impressed. Took 2.5 weeks to get here which isnt TOO bad.

Came wrapped in bubble wrap with a protective film over the lense, inside the box it was padded. Box was 17x11x10.5cm

Quality is bang on and even look exactly like my old glass ones. Plastic is also decent thickness. I will need to fill in the side with silver to match the OE glass but that's it.

I just got my notice that mine was shipped, not sure how long it will take to get here but Im excited not to have to purchase all new housings.
