Poor light output out of Hella Euro Ellips.

exactly, i know my cutoffs are correct for LHD. i noticed you could index them differently. I'll find out tonight if what i did today helped at all. I found some fairly reflective tape at home depot and lined the reflector with it(Cut in small triangular pieces to lay flat). im just going to order new projectors.

yea, i went out and moved my car last night, and it is defanitly brighter now(i only did the pass. side). I think for now it will suffice, but hopefully this week I'll get new projectors installed-now that will really help!

For RHD it is more like this... \__\__ instead of __/__/ for LHD.

There is no RHD or LHD ellips. They're both the same. You can adjust the cutoff pattern for use in either situation. Just loosen the three screws on the back and rotate the rear portion.

I fitted a 6k HID kit, problem solved.

Where are you guys finding new euro projectors, dealer or what?

Turner sells New Hella units. I dont know of a dealer that can order them as BMW NA wont allow any shipment of Euro headlights to dealers in the states. I am sure there is a way around it with some effort tho.

ive pmed everyone on this damn forum to try to get one good reflector (one of mine is shot) people will usually return one pm then i never hear from them again
