DDM Tuning HID Kits - Apexcone - $55 is that right?

is this the right price for the 35W kits? $55 seems way to cheap.

i ordered the 5k 9006, i guess i will find out how they are.

They are nice HID's. The quality of the ballast coulda been a bit better but light output is pretty nice. i went with 4300 on my e36 and im pretty happy

Is the ddm kit 55w worth the extra $80?

I heard that 55w is a big difference from 35w kit. That said, I just ordered a set of 35w 4500k. I feel like the 35w kit is sufficient and that the extra money could be saved for other things.

ALSO... if you think about it. If you do go with the 55W kit, you'll still be getting a killer deal. It all depends on how much money you want to spend/save. This is a great deal for both. If you wanted 55W in the beginning just think about it now being much cheaper.

I ordered 6 35w 6000k kits and they are awesome...

IMHO 55w is overkill as the 35w is more than enough with the 6000k bulbs

i have the 9006 stock US ellipsoids.
iirc some say a spacer is needed?
cuz the bulb is set too close to the projector?
                    or something like that?
                    can anyone verify this?

i really just want to plug and play
                    35w 6000k or 8000k ok?

                    how easy was the install?

I just installed my 9006 in US ellipsodes and had no problem putting the DDM HID bulbs in.

No spacing needed for me. Plug and play

I personally would not go over 6000k (which is what I went with). 8000k and up get into those blue/purple colors that look rice...

Fogs in your sig? = H3

Those will require some modification to the bulb trap doors to work with the H3 HID bulbs and harness. You will need to drill about a 1/2" hole for the HID bulb and harness to go through and seal it up with atv/silicone to keep water out.

                            i just completed my order.

15$ for shipping and about 6$ tax.
came close to cost of the 55w.
                            still a good price though.

                            the foglights could wait.
i'm sure HID low beams would suffice.

                            last question.
how's the cut off of the us ellipsoids?
did you need to do some aligning or anything?

                              55w are way overkill

I did not have to adjust at all for the US ellipsoids. The cut off is perfect and nothing was needed. Plug Play turn on and enjoy... :p (unless your headlights are way out of adjustment for some reason).
