    okay guys. im buying DDM raptors soon.
    it saids i need 9006 bulbs. what is the difference between those bulbs and the H1/H2/H3????

    when you go from sealed beams you have to either do a relay mod or use diodes to have them on at the same time.
    I prefered going diode here
    there are plenty write-ups on the relay mod

    Maybe I can help, I have something similar on my E28, which came with inner Highs and outer Hi/Lows, but lows were replaced with low-only lights.

    There is a diode protected relay in the low beam circuit that is grounded thru the high beams on low, and it's coil is backfed from the high beam relay output on high. This kills the lows (and fogs are set up the same too, I believe) when you switch the highs on.

    I have a set of instructions that redirects the ground path from the low beam relay so that it stays on at all times, would you like me to send you a copy?

    Roger that! I want to try some nice PIAA's for the highs. They might be a bit closer to the HID color at least. The Silver Star's I'm running now look like garbage. We'll see....

    I got the same kit. After one side slow to turn on it seems better after running it for a week or so and comes on usually 1st try. The problem is now my hi beams look like yellow ass. I think I need to change those to HID soon.
