not bright enough for temporary blindness. thought of it.

Here's how I picture this going down:

1. Lifted F250 rolls up on you with HID's at a stoplight.

2. You fire off your nifty anti-tailgating mechanism.

3. Light doesn't change.

4. F250 gets out and pulls you through your window, beats you senseless and leaves you in the street.

in texas, we have guns in our cars ;-) so there is always a buddy to back me up.

I just move my rear view mirror out of lights way and brake check them so I don't see them hit me. Once they do OMG What happen?

I've got the rear fogs, and they actually work for most drivers.

For the trucks, I'd say strobes would be awesome. They wouldn't work too well through the red lense, though.

I'm pretty into RC stuff, so I've had many a thought about using servos to aim a paintball gun or laser pointer from a joystick in the passenger seat. Combine the two, and it's a sure (illegal) win. Maybe I'll do it on the next beater I come across, so I can use it in impromptu paintball battles ;)

Toss in a HID assembly in your third brake light and have it on a seperate switch. I have a few spares laying around. I want to do that for people who drive with their high beams on. I mean seriously. I live in LA. There is no reason to ever need to drive with highbeams while your on the 10 freeway.

ok. so last night i was not equipped with my flashing brake light. i was racing a civic si (a decent car btw) and were doin about a buck ten down a 4 lane freeway when some dickfuck in the slow lane flashed his brights. the race was long enough as is, so i cut the gas, hit the brake and i went from light speed to fuckin a turtle walk. i mean i had cars flippin me the bird to hold this assclown back. guess what, he was in a f250. sounds to me like small cock syndrome? i didnt think he expected me to slow down and give him shit. a few miles up the freeway there is a offramp/onramp thing goin on, so i cut over and killed the lights so he couldnt see, and he sped up and drove off... i think he shit his pants when the little black car he flashed was right on his ass with the brights on... then again he jumped off that road through the grass (a cowrun is what we call it) and got back on heading the other direction. but i was thinking to myself the whole time.... *if only i had a flash with me, if only*.
