They are H1/ H1 unless yours are differant for some strange reason ie Depo version.

If you guys want them, I can buy them for the local guys. I won't buy them to ship unless you pay shipping and cost of item as I will make zilch on them. Too much of hassle so local guys chime up if you want'em.

Or if you buy something else i can always put them in box with other stuff. These are only TUV legal lamps ie 55watts max, you can go onto www.tweaks and get 100 watt H1's all day. So melt your eyes out at a mile guys like myself might not want these.

      Greg, shipping would be cheap...

I had 80 watt clear H4's and they were really sweet. I'd like to get them again but I hear so much good stuff about the Osram's that I want to give them a shot, 55 watt or not. They don't make Osram Silverstars in any wattage higher than 55 right?

Let's drive fast and have fun.

I think they are at least as bright as my 100w regular h1's. I am thinking of switching back again.

Yes they are available in higher wattage but not in EU. The max legal limit is 55 watts.

OSRAM Silverstar. If you want cheaper & bright, get 100w, basic bulbs.

It will fry 7.5A fuses rather quickly. All bulbs burn out. These will last a fair bit less than 55w bulbs. Use 15A fuses, or at least 10A (not a normal BMW size) and keep spares.

I'm confused : I don't know what bulbs are in my euro ellipsoids. The shop put them in..got it back restored with whatever bulbs they put in..either crap h1 or h4 bulbs.

I want to replace.. here's a pic of my car with the lights on:
what kind of bulbs do u think I have?

That's why there is a fuse in the wiring loop. To prevent the burning of wires.
