    A/C Pigtail Splicing Question

    Hey R3V-

After replacing the chassis harness on my 318 and installing the dash, I realized that someone cut the A/C pigtail off.

There are multiple same color/same size wires on this pigtail.

My question is: Does their orientation matter? There is no way to tell which is which on the chassis side, and I reaaaaaly don't want to undo everything I did yesterday to take the dash out to replace the HVAC harness.

Trying to get this buttoned up ASAP

Pages 6413-0, 6421-0 and 6452-0 should have all the info you need.

For the two pairs of same colored wires (Br/Gn and Yl), it should not matter which is connected to which since they are joined in splices on the chassis side.

      Thank you, x a million

I spent a ton of time on wedophones yesterday trying to trace them, but the ETM was missing info. The one you linked has 3x the number of pages than the one I was using yesterday.
