    Wow... awesome.

As an audio guy, I appreciate the flush head-unit (more work than some understand) and the active 2way front, rear-fill & sub setup. Very nice. I quite like the Mosconi DSP stuff.
Yet what I'm most drawn to is that interior. I've always found this era of interiors not to my liking, yet this car alone would get anyone thinking.

Did you have trouble putting on the interior door handle trims? I got my panels redone and the thickness on the foam won’t let me put the trim backs on . I broke one attempting . Although it was super old probably brittle .

Thanks! When I saw that BMW was still producing new carpets (black only) for convertibles, I jumped (despite the cost). I've never liked light colored carpets... Then things started to snowball... Everything was out for the sound system, and by that point, it felt criminal to put the old, tired interior back in... Was a great winter project, and I've been enjoying driving it all summer on Cape Cod!

It was a pain... The leather is thicker... we shaved it slightly. Was also tough around the door handles and around the seat belt roller thing. I bought 3 new door handles (convertibel top release). One of the few non-OEM parts I used. Went with the ULO handles--figured they were newer than NOS OEM ones. They've been perfect.

this, as a priority, is the icing on the e30 cake.

100%. Nothing quite beats driving a vintage convertible around Cape Cod during the summer!
